Located just off the Skellig Ring in the village of Ballinskelligs, between Waterville and Valentia Island, the Hostel is situated on the Iveragh Peninsula or Ring of Kerry. The Skellig Hostel is the ideal place to stay when exploring this most beautiful, hidden part of Ireland’s rugged south west coast.

Beach Cafe

The Beach Café is open 7 days per week with an all day menu, teas, coffees, etc. starting with a light Breakfast Menu every morning. Fresh Atlantic Grill and a great BBQ are available every Sunday.

Every Sunday also, there is also a lovely Country Market during June, July & August with live music performed by local musicians.

The Café is located overlooking the beach and its charm is added to with displays of Kerry Images on every wall. Tourist Information Office is available onsite.

Cill Rialaig Restaurant

The Cill Rialaig Art Gallery has an intimate Restaurant which will be open 7 days per week this season 11am to 5.30pm, with evening meals served at weekends (Thursday to Sunday), 6.30pm to 9.30pm. A La Carte Menu with good selection of wines available.

There are a variety of events held at the Art Gallery throughout the season with Art Exhibitions at Bank Holiday Weekends.

Tig Rosie is a charming local pub in Dungegan village. Irish Dancing is a regular feature during the summer season and is a must for all visitors alike.

The Post Office Deli

The Post Office Deli is just down the road and located close to the beach. The Deli offers a choice of light meals from Cold Meat Salads to Ice Creams, Teas, Coffees and Cold Drinks. Meals can be enjoyed at the Deli or taken away. Open daily.

Atlantic Grill Take Away

A selection of Take Away foods are available at Atlantic Grill Take Away, every weekend night, located next to Cable O’Leary’s Pub.
